Provide ONE example from your knowledge of colonial history that your supports your explanation for agreeing with Robert Beverly. - Answer-England's stratified class structure made it hard for landless poor to move up social ladder. Those who already hadn't land usually had property because of birthright, and unwilling to give up property. They saw moving to America as foolish and risky. Briefly explain which of William Penn's purposes for Pennsylvania—religious toleration, government based on liberal ideas, and personal profit—were not found in any of the other original English colonies. - Answer-Religious toleration was not found in any other colony. Due to the fact that most colonies were founded by religious leaders who wanted to spread their ideas and believes. They didn't want anyone interfering/challenging their ideas. Briefly explain which of Penn's three purposes wouldn't prove to be the most difficult for him to fulfill. - Answer-Religious tolerance because if lots of different religions moved to the same place, people will believe they're better than the others which will lead to conflict.
