Establishes a PQS organization and serves as the final qualification authority for all
qualifications under the PQS program

The CO assigns in a unit coordinator to function as the central point of contact for all the
PQS matters

Overall training supervisor ... monitors the PQS program through the unit coordinator

Greater then 16 hours continuous of exposure per day,noise levels of 85dBA,
Noise hazardous areas
Engine rooms, engine enclosures pump, rooms, light deck operations, and a location
where power tools are used, any place that noise hazard signs are posted
Single ear protection
Equal to or greater then 85dBA but less than 96dBA... equal to or greater than 140dPB
but less than 165dPS
Double hearing protection
Equal to or greater than 96dBA and greater than or equal to 165dPS
