halftime interval is 10 minutes unless opposing coaches mutually agree to a different
length. Note that quarters are allowed (see section 7.2.2). Not sure if this has to be
agreed upon before the game or not.
7. 7.2.2 What intervals are allowed between 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th quarters?: Yes,
quarters with a MAXIMUM of 2 minutes are allowed! Not sure if this has to be agreed
upon before the game or not.
8. 7.2.3 When do the teams change ends?: At the end of each period. This means
the teams will switch on each quarter if the game has 4 quarters.
9. MICH - What additional markings are requires outside of the pitch?: The
team areas and the officials area must be marked, fenced or roped off so that they
can be easily identified.
10. MICH - What is the maximum number of games a team or individual may
play in a regular season?: 18
11. MICH - What does the scorekeeper have to record?: Gials, cautions, and
disqualifications. In addition they must also keep track of the start and end times
of the 10 minute time period for a yellow card. Note that the timer is responsible for
keeping track of the time itself.
12. MICH - Who is responsible for timing the 10 minute yellow card sit out
period?: The home school timer is responsible for keeping track of the time itself.
13. MICH - What is required to be in the officials area?: Scorekeepter, score
sheet, table chainr, and sounding device for substitutions.
14. MICH - Are ball holders required?: Yes, in Michigan they are required.
