(Describe) - ANS India has 5 climates which are; Tropical rain forest: Hot and rainy throughout the rain Savanna: Grassland with few trees. Desert: Hot and very dry. Steppe: Flat land with short grasses and no trees. Vertical: Mountainous climates with cold temperatures in high elevations. What did the Indus and Ganges rivers do for India? - ANS The Ganges river carries sediment or silt ( bits of earth and sand ) from the Himalayas to the northern plains. As a result, the northern plains have the most fertile farmland in the world, however in the rainy seasons the river may flood and destroy crops that were planted along the banks. The Indus river carries sediment from the Hindu Kush mountains and other mountain ranges to the plains. Also a wide variety of fish & shrimp live in the river they are caught to sell of eat.
