● Environmental injustice refers to human actions that destroy the
environment while at the same time alienating a given group and
community (Daviset al., 2022).
● Environmental injustice in California is water pollution, where close
to 400,000 people lack clean and safe drinking water due to pollution

California's leading cause of water contamination.
