DEFINITION:
A crowd is a collection of people who are in one place and event
because they are aware of the presence or influence of others.
Types of crowds:
a. That articulates with the social structure:
-audiens formal
for example: debates, Friday sermons, and many others.
-expressive group(there is a common goal)
for example: concert, movie, and Quran recitation.
b. Temporary:
-inconvenient agregation
for example: buying tickets
-panic crowds
for example: earthquakes, panic, and other disasters
-spectator crowds
for example: seeing an accident
c. Contrary to the norm
-acting mobs
For example: some people get emotional and they bully others
-immoral crowds
For example: gambling, cockfighting, adultery, and other deviant
acts
