Above head is negative. first stage mom - effacement dilation station membranesfetal position comfort (how do you plan on controlling pain) contraction pattern vital signs intake and output support person-response - if you see baby's meconium, shows baby is in distress - worry when that is in amniotic fluid, they can breath is in, aspirate, baby can die - need to know how much fluid. TACO. Time of your water breaking, the Amount of fluid, and the Color and Odor of the fluid. first stage baby - FHR ( normal 110 to 160) Variability (minimial - straight line, moderate...) decelerations (if it goes way below base line for FHR) accelerations (any increase from base line FHR) reactivity Leopold's Maneuvers - A series of four maneuvers designed to provide a systematic approach whereby the examiner may determine fetal presentation and position.
