WHAT CC DO DURING BOARDING - Answer- During boarding
1) No1 FWD doors
No2 AFT doors
No3 overwing exists
2) If not refuelling, No4 must proceed to boarding gate to make boarding announcement
& ensure that boarding is carried out to Ryanair procedures
3) There must be 1 CC in attendance at each pair of doors (L1+R1) & (L2+R2) when
passengers are boarding or onboard.
4) During boarding of the aircraft the CC/ground crew at the gate must ensure
that each passenger is in possession of their own boarding card and a valid
ID. The LD. shall be inspected at the photograph page, and the photo must
match the person wishing to board the aircraft.
5) When performing boarding duties onboard the aircraft the CC must check the
date and flight number on the boarding cards of the passengers coming onto
the aircraft to ensure they are boarding the correct aircraft.
6) Be vigilant at all times.
7) Ensure a smooth flow of passengers through the cabin, helping out where
necessary.
8) Ensure no-smoking rules are adhered to at all times.
CC MUST MAKE SURE THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT SEATED IN DIRECT ACCESS
SEATS - Answer- 1) Passengers under 16 years of age.
2) Passengers unwilling or unable to help in the event of an emergency.
3) Passengers travelling with an infant.
4) Persons who necessitate the use of a seat belt extender (which could get
tangled in an emergency).
5) Passengers with reduced mobility, blind/visual impairment or who require
special assistance.
6) Deportees or prisoners in custody.
, (IN EVENT OF EMERGENCY) POTENTIAL ABPs - Answer- 1) Positioning Aircrew
(Ryanair or other airlines).
2) Police officers.
3) Ambulance crew.
4) Fire crew.
5) Military personnel.
6) Doctors and nurses.

DISARM SLIDE PROCEDURE - Answer- 1. Remove Girt Bar from the brackets on the
floor.
2. Place in the stowage hooks on the bottom of the cosmetic cover.
3. Remove red flag from viewing window.
4. No1 will then return to L1 door and physically confirms (touch girt bar to
confirm slide is disarmed and physically checks red flag status)
5. No4 will then return to R1 door and physically confirms (touch girt bar to
confirm slide is disarmed and physically checks red flag status)
6. No2 will then return to L2 door and physically confirms (touch girt bar to
confirm slide is disarmed and physically checks red flag status)
7. No3 will then return to R2 door and physically confirms (touch girt bar to
confirm slide isdisarmed and physically checks red flag status)
8. Verbally confirm slide(s) disarmed and cross checked.
9. No2 will call No 1 via the interphone (55).
10. No1 will say
"Confirm rear slides disarmed and cross-checked?"
11. No 2 will check both slides again and say
"Confirmed"
