P3) Describe how to businesses are organized.

The diagram above illustrates the organizatonal structure of Moo – Moo’s. Because it is a very small
business, the two owners can run the business by themselves and carry all the functons.
Jason runs the fnance and marketng of the business. For the fnance functon he controls the budget of
the business in order to be capable of paying staf and bills. In additon to that, he runs all of the
fnancial records, e.g. cashlow forecast. For the marketng, he ensures that promoton is done and that
customers are happy about the quality of the products.
Bina is in charge of producton and HR. For producton, she has to check the quantty of ingredients used
for one milkshake and to order more stock if required. For HR, she has to monitor the progress of the
employees and their welfare and recruitng and training new staf if needed.
Both of the owners of Moo-Moo’s are setng strategic plans for the future of the business. In additon to
that, both of them will create strategic aims and objectves of the business. Because it is a small
business, the owners of the business can cascade the strategic plans down to the employees through
face-to-face discussions.
