Clinical Manifestations Mr. M is a 70-year-old man who lives in an assisted home. Mr. M suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is suffering from a urinary tract infection. He does not smoke or drink alcohol and has limited physical activity due to ambulatory problems and an unstable gait. His medical history includes high blood pressure, hypercholesterolemia, post-appendectomy status and post-surgical repair of tibia fracture with no indications or symptoms. Mr. M health seems to be deteriorating during the last two months and has difficulty remembering his loved ones' names, his room number and repeating what he has just read. He quickly becomes irritated and violent, and seems scared and worried throughout these hostile episodes. During this time he became dependent on a number of everyday chores, which changed since he was able to dress, wash and feed himself a few of months ago.
