Function Of Torts
To provide a Remedy such as monetary damages and injunctions
Monetary damages=special damages(Financial costs, loss of income and
Medical bills)
General Damages(Pain and Suffering)
Injunctions=An order of the court to do/not do something(defamation)

Where it is deemed appropriate an apology can be given.
Where an apology is given in the manner of the Act and regulations, It
does not constitute an admission of fault or be admissible in evidence.
Can not affect any insurance policy.
Does not constitute a proof of fault, professional misconduct, unfitness
to practice or failure or omission.
