This 28-page summary basically contains all the content provided in the lecture and video
lectures. It also includes a comprehensive summary of several artcles that are part of the
exam material, but weren’t explained enough in the lectures to my liking. Therefore, I
recommend skimming through the artcles provided (e.g. read the introducton and
conclusion, look at some of tables) and for the rest rely on this summary as it contains the
most important informaton with the sheets included!
If you come from a data science background, most of the frst three lectures are
relatvely easy and just a single read through should help you pass the exam. If you come
from a diferent background (Communicaton and informaton science), this course was
especially designed for you and the frst three lectures will give a general introducton on
data science. Lecture 4-8 are more in-depth and contain detailed informaton on certain
topics.
