-License Application - -The process of gaining a license. For nurses they
must attend and pass an accredited nursing program, then pass NCLEX
(nursing boards) in order to apply for and gain license by the state
nursing board of the state where they want to practice.

-Reexamination - -If you do not pass the NCLEX on first attempt you can
retest, but you must wait 45 days for your next examination

-Declaratory Orders - -formal disclosure to the Board of an eligibility
issue that may prevent an applicant from taking the NCLEX and
receiving initial licensure.

-Inactive Status - -Not actively engaged in the practice of professional
nursing for 6 months to a year. In order to keep license active must
complete required CEUs. If not, then license can be suspended or
revoked until CEUs are completed.
