CLAIMS ESTABLISHMENT EXAM {GRADED A}
Purpose of claim establishment (CEST) - ✔✔is used to establish controls for pending
claims and appeals.

database.

pension, and accured benefits - ✔✔used to initiate a claim for CPD.

a claim for CPL.

Benefits by a Surviving Spouse or Child (Including Death Compensation if Applicable)

claim for benefits in its individual stages. The EP remains pending until all required
actions on that claim have been completed. You must promptly establish the EP upon
