Onderscheid aangeboren/ adaptieve verdedigingsmechanismen
• Aangeboren: bescherming tegen alle (niet-specifieke) bedreigingen bijv. witte
bloedcellen.
• Adaptief: bescherming tegen specifieke bedreigingen (antigenen, pathogenen) bijv.
antistoffen.


Soorten adaptieve immuniteit
• Actieve immuniteit: immuunreactie na blootstelling aan antigeen (natuurlijk of
geïnduceerd)
• Passieve immuniteit: door overdracht van antistoffen van anderen (natuurlijk of
geïnduceerd)




Functies lymfestelsel
• Produceren en verspreiden (tussen lymfoïde weefsels en bloed) van lymfocyten (vallen
vreemde cellen, eiwitten en organismen aan)
