In today's era, management is crucial when it comes to different groups of the
country's economy, whether it is a small or large organization/institution. According to the
assigned chapter, the meaning of management is a set of activities that includes planning and
decision-making, organizing, leading, and controlling, directed at an organization's resources
(human, financial, physical, and information), to achieve organizational goals efficiently and
effectively. Management was, is, and always will be the same thing: “the art of getting things
done” it is because based on my interpretation, the things mentioned are necessary to achieve the
proper and organized system of a company/institution. Why? because in this way the process and
the distribution of the requirements will be systematic and to achieve the successful goal of an
organization. For example, in the finance resource of an organization, there is no standing finance
manager to carry out the management process. In this case, it will be difficult for everyone who is
a part of the finance department to achieve their goal/task because no one is leading and
controlling, especially distributing the things that need to be done. It is clearly seeing that
management is the foundation of a systematic organization and acts as a backbone. It can also
apply in any form of institution to achieve the goals efficiently and effectively.
