own vocabulary. This usually occurs due to cultural contact, trade, migration,
or conquest, where speakers of different languages interact and exchange
linguistic elements. The borrowed words, also known as loanwords, often
adapt to the phonological and grammatical rules of the borrowing language,
though they may retain aspects of their original pronunciation or spelling
