Describe all the stages of delivery.
There are three stages of delivery:
● Dilation stage: In this stage your uterine muscle contracts to expel the fetus.
During this process the fetus makes pressure on your cervix causing it to dilate.
● Expulsion stage: During this stage the cervix has dilated completely to 10
centimeters.
● Placenta Stage: This is the last stage of labor, in this stage the placenta is
expelled. This happens immediately after the baby is born, the uterus keeps
contracting until the placenta is expelled through the vagina.
Briefly list and describe the anatomy of the male and female reproductive system.
