(2) A substance or device that will lure pests to a trap or poison bait. Avicide -Answer A pesticide used to kill or repel birds. Birds are in the class Aves. Bait -Answer (1) An edible material that is attractive to the pest, which normally contains a pesticide, unless used as a pre-bait. (2) A food or other substance used to attract a pest to a pesticide or to a trap. Bait Shy -Answer The rejection of a particular bait based on previous learned bad experiences with the bait. Behavior -Answer The eating, breeding, defense, travel, and social habits of an animal. Bioaccumulation -Answer The accumulation of a substance, such as a toxic chemical, in various tissues of a living organism.
