Fascial muscles
Fascial muscles, also known as skeletal muscles, are responsible for movement and support throughout the body. Composed of bundles of muscle fibers, they are surrounded by fascia, a tough connective tissue that provides structure and support. These muscles work in tandem with the nervous system, receiving signals from the brain to contract and relax, allowing for voluntary movements such as walking, talking, and lifting objects. Additionally, fascial muscles play a key role in maintaining posture and stability. Regular exercise helps strengthen and condition these muscles, contributing to overall physical health and function.
