Two couples in their mid- 20s wish to arrange a multi-centre holiday together. They are Marsha and
Frederik and Carla and Pedro. They all work in London. Frederik and Pedro are archaeology
graduates, although they both now work in city. Marsha and Carla are lecturers at a college of
further education. Marsha lectures in communications and Carla in art.
The four want to visit South America. All have busy lives and need to incorporate some relaxation
and rest into their holiday, but they also want to visit different places of interest. They are high
earners so can afford luxurious surroundings. They want the opportunity to visit historical sites and
the men would like to pursue their interest in archaeology. Carla would like to look at local arts and
crafts and may want to buy some pieces to take home.
All want some time to rest on a beach in the sun and to wine and dine in the evenings, but it is also
important that they get to know the local culture. They can travel in March or April (around Easter
time) for two or three weeks.
