, 1. Letter of motivation
Dear Saskia,
I hope everything goes well with you. Everything goes well with me and I would like to tell you what
my expectations are for this semester of English.
In this semester I expect to overall learn more about writing letters in English. We will probably write
various types of letters. Also grammar is part of writing in English. The grammar that has already
been dealt with in previous periods will be repeated and new topics may be discussed. Sometimes I
have difficulty with vocabulary and I am eager to learn more words. Using vocabulary in the
appropriate way is difficult for me, therefore I sometimes have to look up words. I hope to improve
this in the upcoming semester. I would like to work on a larger vocal language.
For me, it is the biggest challenge to write grammatically correct sentences. Sometimes I can not
think of good sentences or I miss words in my vocabulary. I would like to work on that and I hope to
see a transformation between my previously made letters and the letters that I am going to write in
this semester.
I would be very pleased and it would be instructive to write a letter of motivation for a possible
internship or job in the future. We could also write something about cultural topics likewise
something we saw during the study trip.
It would be perfect if these ideas could be realized and become an actual writing assignment for the
file.
