1) The Sitar and Tanpura made in 'Miraj', a small town in Sangli district of
Maharashtra, has been given the Geographical Indication (GI) tag.
➨GI Tag has been given to Mirage Musical Instruments Cluster for Sitar and
Soultune musical instrument producer firm for Tanpura.

2) A two-day exercise involving all maritime security agencies of the country was

3) Wipro has appointed Srini Pallia as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing

hearing implants.
➨ The department of ear, nose & throat (ENT) at Command Hospital (Southern

Implants (BCI) on a 7-year-old child.

HSBC Limited for breaching regulations outlined in the Foreign Exchange
Management Act (FEMA).

jets to participate in the prestigious multinational exercise, Red Flag 24.
This is the first time IAF Rafales have landed on US soil. They are likely to

Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command.
He was commissioned in the Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical)
