Tiffani has experienced human trafficking, substance abuse, and physical abuse. The aim of this study is determining the effectiveness of evidence-based interventions STRIVE and MST with Tiffany. Do multiple evidence-based interventions work to improve mental health and risky behaviors among adolescent victims of sex trafficking? Human trafficking is important for intervention because of the affects that it has on the mental, physical, and social well-being. Bounds et al. (2020) suggests they key to preventing sexual exploitation in youth is to build and strengthen supporting relationships.
