for what they will encounter at the scene
Pre-Arrival Instructions - ANS-PAIs are approved scripted instructions given to callers by
properly trained and certified Emergency Medical/Fire/Police Dispatchers. PAIs provide
necessary assistance to the patient/victim and help control the situation prior to the
arrival of responders to the scene.
