Maslow's hierarchy of needs - ANS-It is described as a persons basic needs must be
met for a person to survive and function. There are five levels and the lower level must
be met before the higher need levels are achieved those levels are as follows physical
needs, the need for safety, the need for love and belonging, the need for self-esteem,
and the need for self-actualization or fulfillment.

Assault - ANS-initially attempting to or threatening to touch a person's body without
consent, causing the person to fear bodily harm

Battery - ANS-the touching of a persons body without the person's consent

Slander - ANS-the making of false verbal statements that hurt the reputation of a person

Negligence - ANS-failure to act in the careful and confident manner resulting in harm to
a person or damage to property

False imprisonment - ANS-an unlawful restraint or restrictions of a person's freedom of
movement
