eventually revealed himself to be Mark Felt, the Deputy Director of the FBI

have been engaged in a "dirty tricks" campaign against the democrats in 1972. They
raised tens of millions of dollars in campaign funds using unethical means. They were
involved in the infamous Watergate cover-up.

them - tapes show his guilt in Watergate and he resigns
18 Minute gap - ANS-a key segment on the white house tape, in which Nixon met with
advisors to discuss the arrests of the Watergate defendants, was mysteriously erased
from the tapes. Nixon's secretary claimed she did it by accident during transcription

to Nixon, which aroused fierce criticism, and soon his approval ratings went from 71% to
