Air Maintenance Log - ANS-A record book kept in flight deck containing a complete
history of the AC including flight time reports inspections repairs and alterations to the
plane.

Airline Certificate - ANS-License rating which meets the specific requirements from the
FAA issued to operators of scheduled supplemental or authorized carriers.

Airspeed - ANS-Speed at which airplane is traveling thru the air may be more or less
than speed in relation to ground.

Air traffic - ANS-A/C operating in the air or on an airport surfaces excluding loading
ramps and parking areas

ATC - ANS-Air Traffic Control; A division of the FAA that controls airways, navigational
