Ace - correct answer-A winning serve that the reciever cannot touch with the racket
All - correct answer-A tie score; 30 all, for example, 30-30
Angle shot - correct answer-A shot that crosses the net at a severe angle
Approach shot - correct answer-A shot that the hitter follows to the net
Backcourt - correct answer-The part of the court between the service line and the baseline
Backspin - correct answer-Reverse spin on the ball, like a car wheel in reverse
Balance point - correct answer-The point in the shaft of a racket where the head and the
handle are balanced
Block - correct answer-The return of a ball with a very short swinging motion
Chip - correct answer-A groundstroke hit with a short backswing and with backspin on the
ball
Choke - correct answer-To play poorly because of the pressure of competition
Choke up - correct answer-To hold the racket at a point higher on the handle, away from the
base of the grip
Crosscourt - correct answer-A shot hit diagonally from one corner of the court to the opposite
corner
Deep - correct answer-A reference to the area near the baseline
Dink - correct answer-A shot hit with very little pace or depth
Double fault - correct answer-Failure on both attempts to serve into the proper service box
Down the line - correct answer-A shot hit more or less parallel to the closest sideline

net and bounces twice before the opponent can get to it
