Definition of a personal trainer - ANS-1) possess a minimum of a HS diploma, 2) works

conducts pre-participation health screening assessments, submaximal cardiovascular

Facilitates motivation and adherence as well as develops and administers programs
designed to enhance muscular strength/endurance, flexibility, cardiorespiratory fitness,
body composition, and/or motor skills related to physical fitness (balance, coordination,
power...)

Public disclosure of affiliation - ANS-And ASCMCP may disclose their affiliation with
ACSM credentialing in any context, oral or documented. provided they are accurate.
May not imply college endorsements unless authorized to do so. May disclose ACSM
status, may list affiliations with credentials on business card without prior authorization,
may inform public of an affiliation as a matter of public discourse or presentation.
