Class 9 ICSE, A DOCTOR'S JOURNAL ENTRY FOR AUGUST 6,1945 is a tragic story of a bomb explosion at Japan in Hiroshima. This story is narrated by a doctor. The poem starts ironically on a peaceful note but ends with a painful and depressed ending. No one could imagine that the poem would end like that because of the starting note. The two strong flash of light struck his house and everything destroyed into pieces. His wife got injured and his blood was gushing out from his neck (jugular artery). Their clothes burner down because of the harmful light and at the end everyone was so shocked that they cannot even express their feelings by crying.
