DIGITAL PRESENTATION
1. List the possible multimedia contents that are included while creating a
presentation.
Ans- Text, List items, tables, graphics elements, sound and video & animations.
2. List the important points to be considered while making an effective presentation.
Ans- a) Number of lines- Use 5 to 8 lines in a single slide.
b) Font size- Use font size 32 or more, so that the audience can easily read the
contents.
c) Correct use of grammar and language- Make sure you use proper grammar and
language.
d) Inserting graphics- Try to avoid inserting more than two graphics in any slide.
e) Use of colours- Use dark colours, bold letters and highlight certain points. Use fair
background and dark colour for fore ground.
f) Animation and videos- Do not include more than one animation or video in any
slide.
g) Pay attention to target group- Focus on the contents, sequence of the topics in
such a way that it makes flow to attract the attention of the audience from the objectives.
3. What are the advantages of using a presentation?
Ans- Some of the advantages of using a presentation are-
a. Easy to demonstrate topics using charts, pictures. Etc.
b. Complex topics can be easily explain in a simple way using multimedia tools.
c. Organizing the contents in a sequence manner with the help of slides.
4. What objects can be inserted to slides in Impress?
Ans- Sounds, videos, OLE objects, formula and plug in.
5. What are the steps to add pictures or object to the slide?
Ans- To add picture from a file follow the following steps-
1. Go to Insert, then click on Image on the submenu bar
2. On the Insert picture dialog box, locate the desired picture and select the
picture.
3. Click open to place the picture on the current slide.
