Health assessment - collect subjective and objective data to determine a client’s overall level of
functioning in order to make a professional clinical judgment
Data analysis - nurse examines and groups the data collected to make nursing judgements
Nursing diagnosis - process of assessing potential or actual health problems, including those
that fall within the scope of nursing practice; a judgement/conclusion reached as a result of
such assessment or derived from assessment data
