- Lateraal 1/3 deel van de clavicula, acromion en spina scapula

Insertie

- Tuberositas deltoidea humeri

Functie

- Alle vezels: abductie schouder
- Anterieure vezels: anteflexie schouder
o Endorotatie schouder
o Exorotatie schouder
o Horizontale adductie schouder
- Posterieure vezels:
o Retroflexie schouder
o Exorotatie schouder
o Horizontale abductie schouder
- Palpatie
▪ Patient zittend, en zoek de origo en insertie op en wijs de spier aan
terwijl patient abductie maakt.

- Fascia thoracolumbalis
- Angulus inferior scapula
- Costa 9 tot 12
- Crista iliaca {posterior 1/3 deel}

Insertie

- Crista tuberculis minoris humeri

Functie

- Endorotatie
- Adductie
- Retroflexie
- Uitademhalingsspier

Palpatie

- Patient in buiklig, bovenarm op de bank, onderarm hangend langs de bank en pak de spier
vast, duidelijk te palperen

Origo

- Margo lateralis en angulus inferior scapula

Insertie

- Crista tuberculi minoris humeri

Functie

- Endorotatie
- Retroflexie
- Adductie

Palpatie

- Patient in buiklig op de bank, onderarm hangend langs de bank
- Zoek angulus inferior op en palpeer daarboven de orgio van de teres major
- Laat vervolgens patient endorotatie maken en voel verder het verloop
