Nurses have to take care of patients and ensure that they recover without challenges. The
nursing profession ensures that regardless of the conditions that people face, they still have an
opportunity to get better and work towards their destiny. Nurses play an important role in the
healthcare facilities since they apply their knowledge and skills to deliver quality services to the
patients. Despite their essential roles, nurses also face challenges which make it hard for them to
meet the set goals and objectives of the hospitals. Some working environment does not present
the practitioners with the facilities that would make them deliver quality (McDonald, 2006).
When nurses go through the challenges, they become stressed and may not work towards the set
goals and objectives. A common problem which nurses encounter is the cultural competence
problem where they have to handle people from different parts of the nation and the regions
where they work. The issue makes it hard for the nurses to perform their duties and
responsibilities and deliver quality in the hospitals. The paper focuses on the utilization of the
borrowed theory in solving the impacts of the issue of cultural competence in nursing.

Warren, 2003). They will become demotivated and stressed so that they may, in the long run,
