Dear Sir,
Subject: Creating more opportunities for after-study activities
In our local community, after-study activities have been declining for teenagers. In
this letter I am going to explain why after-study activities are important for our
teenagers besides their studies.
As a teenager myself, living in a community like ours, at times I feel activity
demotivated, not being able to take up after-study activities. However, I end up
consoling myself when I laugh at the possible reasons for not having enough
activities in our community. Firstly, some of these activities require a lot of funds and
at times proper trainers to set up these clubs which are not available.
Likewise, in order to set up a few after-study activities we will require some space.
Unfortunately, in our local community we are short of space and not many people are
eager to free up space in order to accommodate clubs.Last, but not the least, people
in our community are so busy with their jobs that they have little time to discuss and
settle these issues.
What makes me so enthusiastic about the topic of after-study activities is the benefit
that can be derived from it. Recently, after reading an article by Steven Dowsten, I
was extremely satisfied. In that article, he pointed out that after-study activities not
only generate interpersonal give up ,teenagers are another reason to be chosen in
top universities worldwide.
