please describe to me how you are feeling?
I am in severe pain; I twisted my right ankle and fell while sprinting at school two days ago. I
thought the pain would go away after some time, but it keeps getting worse. My range of motion
is affected.
Do you have any more symptoms or concerns I should be aware of?
Besides the swelling, I noticed some bruising after the sprinting.
Do you have any dull, aching pain or redness?
No, I haven’t noticed any redness.
Can you describe how you twisted the ankle?
Yes, I was running on a track in a race in the inside lane, and my right leg lost its footing, and I
fell. I landed on the ground on my right side. I felt excruciating pain.
What happened after you fell?
At first, I tried to get up and continue the race, but the pain could not allow it. My ankle hurt too
much to allow me to stand, so the medical team helped me get off track. After first aid, I was
able to walk until yesterday morning, when the aching and swelling became worse.
