Purpose of the The purpose of this study was to provide data based on new graduate

includes important data that is critical and key to a healthy collaborative
healthcare environment that ultimately will provide better patient care
leading to better outcomes. Understanding this study within depth
analysis, the healthcare field can better prepare themselves as far as
administration to prep novice nurses with their confidence with developing
a healthy communication line and become an asset to the interprofessional
team. This study gives in sight to better prepare our nurses for better
patient care.
Type of Research The type of research used was qualitative research using a phenomenology
& the Design
design. With face to face and online interviews this type of research
allowed interviewers to venture into the perspectives of novice nurses.
Their perspectives provided feelings and real-life experiences with
physician communication as a new graduate. In simple terms,
phenomenology can be defined as an approach to research that seeks to
describe the essence of a phenomenon by exploring it from the
perspective of those who have experienced it (Neubauer, B et al.,2019).
Sample Fourteen participants (9 female+4male) were interviewed for this research.
Ten of these nurses worked in the med-surgical unit and four nurses
worked on the pediatric unit. All the nurses had only 7-24 months nursing
experience and daily physician communication is required in their
workplace. An additional interview was conducted for data saturation.
Data Collection Data collection consisted of virtual interviews (due to covid isolation),
face-to-face interviews, and audio recordings for all participants. All
participants received overarching questions followed by probing questions
