Issue: He has saved vital files in many different areas on shared hard drive and he
need to find these Documents and save it to one folder.
Advice given:
Step 1: Create new folder by clicking on the right button of the mouse, then
go to the new, on the list appear, click the folder and name the folder in
order understand easily which folder is this.
Go to this PC and click on “Network “in the left pane.
, Go to the network PC that you shared the files.
Then select the file that you want and then select copy and then paste it to
the folder that has created. Then I told him to find to the files that’s he
want to save in one folder then I told him to click on the right button of the
mouse and then click copy in each file and then click the right button of the
mouse in the folder that he created and then click paste to send his files to
the folder that he want collects his files, then I told him to do the same to
all files on different areas by copy the files that he wants and paste it to the
folder.

The continually changing of the role of IT support simultaneously as new
technologies come on the board and network setup evolve. In supporting users,
the IT support team needs to be up to date with the developments in hardware
and software in order to be successful in providing advice and guidance. IT
support organizations use similar technology like remote working for the purpose
of ensuring that organizations can operate to meet needs of its customers. Users
should consider the methods of communications that are most appropriate for
particular type of support activity. There are different communication routes used
by technicians to provide advice and guidance to users:
Telephone conservation.
This is one of the methods of communication used by technician to provide advice
and guidance to users. Through telephone, customer or user call technician for
help of technical support and expecting to receive advice for the problem that he
has. The availability of this method as communication help the user to get help
through telephone to their technical problems, this is an advantage for the user
because instead of going online to find the solution of their technical problem by
reading from manual, the user can use telephone conservation with technician to
get advice and guidance. The following are the advantages of this telephone
conservation as technique for communication to get technical support.
It is cost effective communication route to provide advice and guidance because
the advantages that he get user to the problem solved are greater than the cost
of call request. For example, let’s say the student got blue screen of death while
doing his assignment and 2 hours left for the assignment to be collected, when
the student request call to the technician for this technical support and the
student got advice and he solve this problem, the advantage that he get is greater
than the cost of telephone support.
