in 1884 ,i guy called otto van bismark had a meeting with other european countries
- like germany , italty , france , portugal , britian and spain
the 5 berlin act rules
1. when a european country entertered afica ,they were suppose to inform other
european countries
2. any european country that took over the coastal areas they were responsible for
the surroundings of the area
3. Europeans could now take over counties in africa without consulting the africans
themselves
4. any european that took over a country in africa they were suppose to allow
another european county to do business in the same country
5. Any european country was allowed to have free trade in congo , niger and congo

- when slavery stopped some muslims in africa started continuing that so the
britian decided to colonise them

people but the after sometime the desire for adventure changed to the desire of
africas riches

-people stopped visting africa because of a disease called malaria until there was
a cure that was found
