Yellow white papules. 2 days old Mongolian spots - areas of deep bluish-gray pigmentation most commonly on the sacral aspect of a newborn Moro reflex - Reflex in which a newborn strectches out the arms and legs and cries in response to a loud noise or an abrupt change in the environment tonic neck reflex - turning the head to one side, extending the arm and leg on that side, and flexing the limbs on the opposite side Palmar - Grasping object Babinski reflex - in response to the sole of the foot being stroked, a baby's big toe moves upward or toward the top surface of the foot and the other toes fan out First trimester discomfort - N/v- avoid empty stomach, toast/crackers, small frequent meals, b6 Breast- supportive bra, avoid soap to nipples Urinary frequency- increase fluid day and decrease at night Leukorrhea- cotton, clean and dry, shower, avoid tight clothes
