DEPARTURE COMMENTARY
Good morning my dear tourists and good morning Baguio City! Once again I am Kyla Regina,
a tour guide from Infinity Destination. It is a wonderful day today so I guess everybody is excited,
am I right? That’s good to hear! And I'm happy to assist you and guide you anywhere. Are you
ready to tour Baguio City? Alright, I think you are all ready my wonderful tourist. I will make sure
that you have an enjoyable and fun experience here at the City of Pines. Please do cooperate
with me so that we can have a wonderful tour, but before that let's have a head count first 1, 2,
3, 4, 5 , perfect five lovely tourists
Before we go, I have a few reminders to everybody. My time now is exactly 8:00 am and make
sure it is synchronised with your time . If I wave my red flag, it signifies that your allotted time on
the destination has already ended. If I wave my green flag, you are free to roam around and it
signifies a go signal. If I whistle once, it signifies that we need to gather around and I have my first
aid kit in case you need medical assistance but I hope that we will never have to use it, in case
somebody gets injured I can attend to you to give first aid. Lastly, secure your belongings.
To give you a glimpse of our day’s itinerary, we will start it with rediscovering this creative city by
hopping off first to our first stop Camp John Hay, a 11 minutes and 4.3 kilometres drive away here
in our location and it is former rest and recreation facility for American soldiers in Asia and now a
tourist attraction which gives you a taste of pleasure and adventure.
Our next destination ia a creative city that will prove to you one of its masterpieces, just a 13
minutes and 3.6 kilometres drive from Camp John Hay , we will now take you to the “Garden in
the Sky” also called the Tam-awan Village, to have a chance to immerse yourself in the
Cordilleran culture.
After our morning tour we will have our lunch at the Farmers Daughter Restaurant a 1 min and 25
metres away from Tam-awan Village and this restaurant offers large servings of pure Cordilleran
cuisine like smoked beef, pork, and chicken, at an affordable price.
Our next destination is 1 min and 450 meters away and it is the Igorot Stone Kingdom, a
man-made park and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Baguio City, Philippines.
Next, it is 13 minutes and 1.5 kilometres away from Igorot Stone Kingdom and let us not forget to
boost our spirituality for we will visit our very unique Lourdes Grotto shrine. It is a Catholic shrine
and place of prayer and meditation.
