include: Norminal, Ordinal, Interval and Ratio.

Attitude measurement scales
• An attitude is the tendency to evaluate something in a particular
way with some degree of positivity or negativity.
• The attitude object can be any aspect of the physical or social
environment such as things, people or an abstract idea.
• Attitude measures assess attitudes by representing respondents
with statements that express beliefs about the particular attitude
being measured.
• The statements in attitude scales evaluate both favorable and
unfavorable feelings.
, There are 4 main scaling techniques used to
assess attitudes namely;
• Likert scale
• Thurstone scale
• Guttman scale
• Semantic differential scale
