• Clients who are under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
• Active phases of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis

Body Mass Index (BMI):
• Formula used to determine if an adult person’s weight to height ratio is within
healthy range.
• Calculated by dividing the client’s weight in kg by their height in meters squared (m2)

• Tend to have a delicate frame and bone structure
• Usually lean and angular; (mostly tall)

• Well-rounded, tending towards a heavier build
• Usually shorter than other 2 types
