✔️Preference list - A shorter list that contains common medication and non-medication orders. All
of these should be configured.
Facility List - Larger search that contains all medication and non-medication orders that are
formulary or non-formulary that are in stock. All of these should be configured.

✔️Chart Search
If you add a patient to "My List" will they drop off when they are discharged -
✔️No. They would drop off of a system list, but not My List.
How do you add a patient to your "My list"? -
✔️Patient lists activity > available lists > find the desired list > right click system list and choose sent
to My list.
,When should you mark a patient as reviewed on the Clinical Overview list? What does marking a
patient as reviewed do? -
✔️when you have completed all actions you will be at that time. This restarts the clock.
Who should use the Antimicrobial Monitoring List? -
✔️An infections disease pharmacist covering a large population.
Who should use the Clinical Overview list? -
✔️A pharmacist covering a smaller population
Do Orders entered by a Pharmacist require verification? -
✔️Depends on how the order is signed. No - if no cosign is required and the pharmacist selects
"sign", then the order will be verified. Yes - if a cosign is required, the order will appear in the verify
queue when signed, or if the pharmacist selects sign and verify, the order will be placed in queue.
Who will be viewable to the pharmacist if they select "Orders" from the main toolbar? -

what is a simple ERX record? -
✔️A record for a drug which includes:
drug + form + strength.
If two drugs have the different strengths, will they have the same ERX -
✔️No - a different strength would mean a different ERX
Where do ERX records come from? -
✔️They are generally part of an upload, like FDB, but are built by analysts as necessary (mixtures
etc)

✔️"Non-formulary" will be the drug name
True or false: A pharmacist can make changes and approve an order for a non-formulary request in
verify orders -
✔️True. The pharmacist does not need to notify anyone as the intent of the order is not changing.
Within verify order, they can select the product (ERX) and package (NDC). The physician does not
cosign the order, the nurse does not acknowledge it, and the MAR is changed.
What does the binoculars icon mean on verify queue? -
✔️Someone else opened the Verify Orders activity for this patient, but it's not open now. The order
still needs to be verified.
What doesthe icon with the person and binoculars stand for? -
✔️You were the last person to open the Verify Orders activity for this patient, but you don't have it
open now.
What does the the pencil icon mean in the verify queue? -
✔️Someone else currently has the Verify Orders activity open for this patient.

What does the star icon in verify queue stand for? -
✔️The patient's orders were previously seen but not verified. Now, there are new or modified
orders for the patient.
