The following are web architecture and components which enable internet and
web functionality:
Web architecture.
Web architecture is the planning and design of world wide web which create
functional and visual components of a website. World wide web is constantly
changing medium is a constantly changing medium that allows communications
between users and technical interactions between various systems and
subsystems. The following are the web architecture:
Internet Service Provider (ISP).
These are the one which provide the use of internet. ISP in Oman includes,
Omantel and Ooredoo. Internet service providers set up user with DNS and IP
address that can be either static or dynamic.
Webhosting services.
These are companies which provide server to the user that is connected to the
internet. For example, if want your website to access and seen by anyone, you
must host it, you must find webhosting company to host your website. Web
hosting company provide you fixed amount of space that if you want more you
will need to upgrade. Also, they provide connectivity and other necessary to store
files to your website.
Domain structure.
Domain structure enable user to interpret different information. Let’s say for
example,

Https is a Hyper Text Transfer protocol secure.
www is the page on world wide web.
Facebook.com is the actual Domain name which allow user to visualize
what part of the website are in.
Domain Name Registrars.
Domain Name Registrars is a company that manages the reservation of the
domain names as well as well as assignment of IP address of those domains
name. Domain names helps easier to access website with out the need to
memorize their IP address. For example, you can access google by writing
google.com rather than writing its IP address 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
World wide web.
It is also called WWW. This is where documents and other web resources are
identified by URL which may be interlinked by hypertext. World wide web links
users to web pages and website through the internet. User can access world wide
web on browser such as google chrome, internet explorer and others.

hardware which determines the performance of the webserver, and the second
one is the software which hold all file request that are made to the server. Finds

Routers. Router connects different computers and forward packets information.
