Explain how your research methods can be used to make a
marketing decision about whether there is a market for your new
Coca-Cola product.
For this assignment I am going to explain how your research methods
can be used to make a marketing decision about whether there is a
market or your new Coca-Cola product. The product I have chosen
for this is the Cola-Kiwi from assignment P1.
After carrying out the primary research from assignment P1 we are
going to make a marketing campaign for our product. The marketing
campaign will be a TV commercial. If the research from face-to-face
surveys and telephone survey shows us that the customer likes the
flavor of the product but would only drink the product in a very hot
weather. We will use a country where the weather is warm such as;
Dubai or Rio to film or advertisement. Or if the research from
observation shows us that the customer doesn`t buy soft drinks these
days or the customer only buys exotic flavors, we are going to wait a
while before launching the product or we are going to produce 5
million can’s instead of 10 million. If the observation method shows
us that the customer only buys exotic flavors, we are going to use an
island for the advertisement with palm trees and blue sea`s. If field
trips show us that the customer doesn`t like the regular 33Ml can but
wants a 50Ml can we will produce the drink in 2 sizes or maybe only
use the 50Ml can in the advertisement. Another example of a field
trip result is that the customer would only drink this product when he
is eating something like for example; Fries, Nacho`s or Fish. Then we
will film the advertisement in a restaurant when the actor is eating a
dish.
After carrying out the secondary research for our product the Cola-
Kiwi, we are going to make a marketing campaign. The marketing
campaign will be an TV Commercial. For example, if website
monitoring shows us that the customer doesn’t watch an
