Activity Sheet No. 4

Year and Course: Time and Section :
Which, Where, and Why
Instruction. Limit your answers to a maximum of six (6) sentences per question.
1. In Kierkegaard’s stage of life, in which stage would you put yourself? Why?
In this world full of evolution and changes, I classify myself under the ethical stage.
Right now, I am more focused on assessing myself as to what I can be in life which, of course,
takes into consideration the people who would be solely affected by my existence. Life itself is
cruel enough for some people and that gives me the desire to be in harmony with everyone to
the extent of my abilities. Thus, I can say that I can create a better version of myself by creating
and advocating peace within the human race.
2. Which type of person would you consider yourself in the work of Nietzsche? Why?
According to Nietzsche, a camel is a follower, a conformist, a carrier of burden, a hard
worker, and is excellent. With that said, I associate myself with a camel which clearly shows
how I used to live my life. I somehow have this attitude of perseverance and determination.
Whenever I set my eyes on a certain goal, I want to ensure that whatever the situation I am
in, I won’t lose sight of my goal which, of course, takes into account the following of moral
and government laws.
3. Are you a Dasein or a Dasman? Why?
Dasein. Being a Dasein is a personal choice that shows how I value my existence. I am
currently empowering not just myself but everyone to embrace our unique existence. I embark
on a journey of self-discovery, authenticity, and personal growth. I am now in the process of
finding meaning in my life by recognizing my capabilities in self-awareness, reflection, and
freedom of choice.
4. Do you consider yourself honest to who you want to be in life? Why?
Yes. Being true to what I do is my way of life. I can’t fully conceive the real essence of
life when even I myself, will be deceiving and poisoning my existence. Living an honest life
would unveil the flower of my life and show the beauty that lies within it. Living by myself with
lies means losing sight of my goal and thus, of course, would alter the course of my future
where peace turns into chaos and harmony into war.
