1. Choose a word which best describes Globalization. Provide a discussion how it helps
define globalization. (50-100 words)
- I would choose the word ‘interdependence’, which best describes a
phenomenon called globalization, where trade and technological
advancements have created a more interconnected and interdependent
world (National Geographic Society, 2023). It also signifies the connection
among nations, economies, cultures, beliefs, and societies. Interdependence
is one of the cores of globalization, as it creates interconnected relationships
that go beyond limitations.
2. Cite one example of how globalization influences you as a social being? ( Provide
50-100 words discussion)
- Globalization influences me through online platforms like Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, etc. I can meet new people around the world with
different cultures, traditions, and beliefs and share knowledge and
understanding about each other. Also, with this influence, people become
more connected, open-minded, and understand each other’s differences.
The role of globalization is really big, as it makes people connect with each
other.
