, SESSION OBJECTIVES
• By the end of the block, the KRCHN students will be able to:
1. Participate in the assessment, diagnosis, midwifery and follow
up care of a mother with an abnormal labour pattern
2. Prepare and participate in the care of mothers undergoing
various obstetric operations/procedures.
3. Assess, diagnose and specifically manage various obstetric
emergencies
4. Describe and manage various malpositions and
malpresentations of the occiput.
